The role requires the Assistant Accountant to assist the Management Accountant with collation of statistics and KPIand#39;s for month end management packs. Preparation and review of monthly management accounts;Analysis of variances;Preparing management reports; Recording hours and costs of manpower;Balance Sheet reconciliations;Assisting the Purchase ledger department as required.Provision reporting and dealing with all recharges.Assisting with budgets and forecasts will be an important aspect of the role.

The ideal candidate needs to have worked within Finance previously within a management accounting role.
Preferably CIMA or ACCA part-qualified
Strong Excel
Commercial individuals with the confidence to communicate with senior management, as well as being able to explain and discuss figures with lower-level employees.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
