We are currently seeking a dynamic, hard-working individual, who combines strong initiative with the ability to work in a team environment for the following perm position for our client in Kitimat.
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
The Maintenance Supervisors duties will include supervision of maintenance teams while interfacing with other area maintenance teams, organization and implementation of the departmental safety program, and liaison with the area operations team to properly organize maintenance priorities.
The successful candidate would be responsible for day-to-day planning of short notice and break-in work as it is identified in addition to the execution of scheduled weekly work. The organization of manning for line shutdowns and day-to-day work is also a critical role of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be evaluated on the following criteria: Strong and effective communications and inter-personal skills supported by a Grade 12 Graduation Certificate with 5 years of maintenance experience or a Technical/University Diploma or Trades Qualification. Computer literate and able to learn quickly and efficiently. Strong mechanical/process background with technical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to organize, direct and report on departmental maintenance activities. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION PERMITTED TO WORK IN CANADA .
