Our Fort McMurray client is looking to fill the position of Planner/Scheduler Maintenance Department at their oil sands operation. Relocation to Fort McMurray is required for this position.
Roles and Responsibilities: Understanding where planning fits into good maintenance practicesCapital expenditure program planning and schedulingDetailed planning - Scope, research, job steps, access, permissionsDetailed planning - materials, tools and equipmentEnsure timely transition of technical competencies, infrastructure and
documentation from the project team to the operating teamSupport mechanical completion and final commissioning at the Upgrader plant site Develop equipment care plans and standard job proceduresAssist in design reviews of technical documentsRequirements:
Qualifications and Experience: Engineering, Technologist or Journeyman certification in a Mechanical disciplinePlanning experience in a plant environment using SAP enterprise managementProficient in the use of Microsoft Project Strong multi-disciplined technical and project execution skills coupled with maintenance knowledge You have a solid understanding Upgrader or Oil Refinery processes, equipment, materials of construction, work processes and technical issues. Must have strong PC skills with polished, professional written and verbal communication 10 + years plant site maintenance experience at an Upgrader or industrial plant 3 + years experience in the role of planner and scheduled activities in a complex process environmentLocation: Fort McMurray, Alberta
