Our client is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Business Intelligence and a Microsoft Business Solutions Partner for Microsoft CRM. They are growth oriented and dynamic and seek a motivated self-starter who will grow with the company. Located in Mississauga, they are currently looking for an individual to join their team for the position of Bilingual Technical Support Specialist.

ResponsibilitiesProviding first level IT assistance to our clients, performing problem diagnosis and resolution, assisting clients in applying fixes and managing situations that may involve multiple support personnel Properly escalate any potential or outstanding issueManage and be accountable for all calls that you have logged until they are completedEnsure constant communication is maintained with internal and external clients Maintain user/problem databases and support documentation Participate in hardware/software testing, implementation and updatesOther IT duties as neededRequirementsMust have a post secondary education in Technology or a minimum of 2 years experience providing technical 1st level supportFluently bilingual in French and English (verbal/written) Must have a solid working experience with Windows 2000 including: Active Directory, MS Office 2000 Suite, PC hardware components and functionalitiesA working knowledge of MS SQL Server, network security and Visual Foxpro is an assetMSCE and A+ certification is an assetAbility to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or escalate to the appropriate expertise areaDesirable personality traits include: excellent telephone skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, takes initiative, is proactive and positiveExcellent written and spoken English & French communication skillsRemuneration
Salary will be approximately $40K, depending on experience, with bonus and benefits after 3 months. Applicants must be flexible to work regular office hours, and a 12noon to 8pm shift once per week as well as a few weeks per year to cover the vacation schedule.
