IT Security And Governance Analyst

Job Informations: We are looking to help our Client fill an IS Compliance and Security Coordinator role on a permanent basis.
This position is responsible for the on-going development, implementation, and coordination of the IS Security and CSOX compliance programs.
Accountabilities include:
Identify, develop, and maintain appropriate security and CSOX strategies and policies, compliance programs, and procedures to satisfy corporate policy and regulatory requirements
Ensure alignment between corporate business processes and security policy
Promote security and CSOX policy awareness and compliance by developing, maintaining, and delivering awareness programs
Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching around IS processes to ensure a compliant and secure environment
Partner with the IS teams to deliver IS Security programs and ensure all identified audit findings/issues are adequately tracked and remediated
Coordinate and perform compliance activities to ensure regulatory, procedural, and company expectations are maintained, including Security Appraisals and Project Security Reviews
Ensure periodic risk assessments of critical systems and infrastructure to assess the information security risks are performed
Lead security incident reporting process and investigation requests
Recommend mitigating controls or procedures to eliminate or minimize identified risks
Act as the liaison between IS Governance and other corporate stakeholders (Internal Audit, Physical Security, Human Resources, Legal) with respect to security and CSOX issues
Act as the IS Disaster Recovery Plan Coordinator and working with the Business Continuity Plan Coordinator
The skill sneeded for this role are University or College diploma in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
Minimum 10 years experience in Information Technology with 5 or more years experience in IS Security
Experience with the requirements surrounding IS internal controls, more specifically as they related to Canadian Bill 198
A good knowledge of the gas and/or pipeline business
Project management experience on small to medium projects
Very strong communication skills, both oral and written
Experience developing and delivery training or awareness programs
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong facilitation skills
Strong negotiation skills
Good knowledge of telecommunication and technology infrastructure
Strong knowledge of information security requirements, policies, guidelines, procedures and technology
Experience performing IS security inspections, appraisals, and reviews
CISSP designation would be an asset.
Previous IT audit experience would be an asset
Previous DRP and/or BCP experience would be an asset
