Responsibilities:
Supports the Sales Management & Operations functions through data gathering, analysis, and process coordination.
This family coordinates and develops information relating to:
Product Allocation, Sales Quotas, Channel/Dealer Inventory and other critical/emerging business operations areas. This family may also coordinate, develop, and/or manage databases and other information tools (eg, EDI) to achieve Sales Operations objectives. This family is intended for Sales Operations positions that are not specifically related to other defined Sales Support, Business Planning, or Information Management families.Senior: Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex,specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways. Comprehensive understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions. Work is completed with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures. May determinemethods and procedures for new assignments. Typically provides guidance to other non-exempt employees. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager at the Sales Centre, rolling up to the designated Business Group. This team works within a fast paced environment, with a high level of telephone and online sales activity. Results are highly focused on quality and Total Customer Experience (including quality of customer communication and written documentation), and highly focused on providing exceptional service to internal and external customers and channel partners. The group is a team based working culture where self management and personal pro-activeness are also key.
Required Skills:
Using the telephone, the Web, and other tools made available to you, you`ll contact customers in a designated market, accounts area, and/or territory, selling them HP products, services and supplies to meet set targets. You will work with clients and resellers to uncover new leads/opportunities and develop your pipeline and the visibility into your assigned sector. In addition, multi-tasking, and prioritizing as new leads and requests come in are a key factor in your success. You will work on business case development in order to succeed in competitive selling situations, and leverage the resources available to you in order to close deals and ensure client satisfaction and targets are met.
As part of the sales force, your drive to hit quotas and other metrics as set by your supervisor/manager, will contribute to an overall team and individual success.
