Solution Architect - Financial Services

As a member of CGIs Banking and investments business unit, you would be responsible for providing the leadership to effective define, development and maintain business architecture of our solutions that is aligned to our business vision and strategy; while effectively providing consulting services to client organizations.
Job Description:
act as a business architect in CGI governing product roadmap, providing business knowledge, guidelines and subject matter expertise leadership in wealth management
oversight of all business architecture, product design and development activities in projects
understand the balance between industry standards, trends and technical challenges, adhering to CGIs enterprise standards and technology vision and direction
provide creative alternatives and recommendations in a business context; working closely with business development team
present and take full accountability for the business architecture solution proposed
Qualifications:
Technical:
Expert in business process redesign and business process reengineering
Strong ability to work with business reference models
Expertise in broad set of modelling methodologies, modelling tools and techniques
Strong skills in modelling Business Processes, Roles, Organizations
Deep understanding of tying business value to process and process to infrastructure
Past experience and strong background in wealth management industry
Strong leadership capabilities
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Have an aptitude to learn and apply new technologies
Working knowledge of SOA and related technology
General:
8+ years of IT Industry experience in business architecture/process capacity
Program and/or project management experience
Strong organization and leadership skills with the ability to facilitate sessions of various kinds
Can communicate in both technical and business terms
Ability to multi-task
Previous experience in financial services industry, including retail, brokerage, wealth management, insurance and/or securities
