Located in Downtown Vancouver, this Full time position as a Payroll/Benefits Administrator is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational and prioritizing skills, who thrives in a highly interactive team environment.
Working closely with one other Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for all aspects of hourly payroll, whilst liaising with the HR Coordinator and various off site locations, in addition to providing back up for salaried payroll & benefits administrator. The role also requires managing the HRIS database including; new hires, changes and terminations, and liaising with the company health and welfare plan, Ltd and pension plan providers, CMSG benefit carriers and HRIS/payroll provider.
Duties will also incorporate dealing with life and accident claims, records of employment, corporate payroll files, remit statutory deductions and month end general ledger reporting.
The successful candidate will ideally be enrolled or have completed level 1 of the Canadian Payroll Course, with strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word, coupled with experience using Ceridian payroll would be considered an asset.
