Job Informations: Description:
As a member of the Engineering Department, you will participate in technical activities related to the ongoing development and production of underground gold mining operations. You will have demonstrated the ability to assume increasing levels of responsibility and possess a strong background in planning, rock mechanics, surveying, ventilation, and longhole drill and blast design. The capability to work positively with a team of professional and technical people in a creative, energetic environment is critical.
Preferred qualifications include:
Three to six years of progressive technical experience;
Geo-technical experience, ESG System;
Professional Engineer status or eligibility;
Ability to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Administrative capabilities;
Strong computer skills in EPS, Vulcan, Access, Autocad would be an asset;
Prior supervisory experience would be an asset.
