As a strong candidate for this position, you will have a university degree and be enrolled in the CGA.CMA or CFA. You will have three or more years of related industry experience. Excellent knowledge of derivatives such as Futures, FX Forwards, Swaps and Options is required. You will also have familiarity with investment operations, accounting, reporting and audit practices. Working knowledge of Bloomberg is required. Description:
Our Toronto client is seeking an Analyst Investment Operations/Portfolio Administration to join their team. In this role as an Analyst Investment Operations/Portfolio Administration, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely portfolio administration and reporting of derivative transactions. The Analyst Investment Operations/Portfolio Administration will be primarily accountable for: monitoring, identifying and resolving any problems related to day-to-day processes; assisting the Team Leader in ensuring controls are in place and are followed; providing complete backup coverage for all critical investment operations functions and developing controls/analyses/documentation as required; maintaining a book of record for daily derivatives transactions data used for trade settlement; handling asset mix reporting, performance measurement, reconciliation and general ledger purposes; ensuring accurate and timely settlement of derivatives investment transactions by identifying and resolving instruction discrepancies with traders and brokers; and preparing investment reports in a timely manner to be used for investment decisions, performance measurement and cash forecasting processes.
