Connaught Compliance require Field Sales Engineers to provide professional, innovative and cost effective energy solutions to our customers by managing a designated sales region and achieving company goals and objectives.

Key accountabilities

1. Service:- To Maintain and exceed the agreed service levels in respect of providing professional energy solutions to customers ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

2. Productivity:- To maintain and improve business performance in your designated region by effective management and to work with other business units, suppliers and contractors to generate quality leads and service to customers.

3. Growth:- To be responsible for the achievement of personal targets and growth objectives within your region by your personal contribution and efficient management of the resources available.

4. People Investment:- To develop and manage effective relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and work colleagues.

Nature & Scope:

The Sales Engineer will report directly to the Field Sales Manager and be home based. They will operate in a designated region and be required to complete reports to enable effective management of the company.

The Sales Engineer will be expected to

1. Achieve personal and regional targets by selling GasForce Installations energy solutions to non-domestic customers and proactively manage individual performance to ensure that the agreed levels of service on response to customers, quotations, complaints, accounts collection and cash recoveries are delivered in a highly professional manner.

2. Generate quality leads by developing effective relationships with other business units, internal staff, customers, contractors and suppliers.

3. Manage contractor and internal workforce to ensure cost effective and quality installation for customer and ensuring maximum margin.

4. Use preferred suppliers at every opportunity ensuring best price and service to company and customer.

5. Ensure future growth by maintaining agreed activity levels of customer visits and quotations.

6. Take responsibility for personal training and development by implementing an Individual Development Plan agreed with the Field Sales Manager.

7. Gather and provide market intelligence to enable development of a regional and national plan and effective targeting of customers through price, product, promotion and place.

8. At every opportunity promote and sell energy services products and services as an integral part of company image.

9. Identify potential key customers and report to the Field Sales Manager to enable national development and cross selling through other business units.

10. Operate a formal audit system to continue to improve the operation of the contractors and to ensure we maintain legal compliance with current IGE and HSE Regulations.

Key skills, accreditation

1. CORGI registered or the ability to gain registration of core competencies *.
2. Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS), or a suitable ACOP or S \ NVQ equivalent for the full range of appliances or as agreed by the company *
* The company will provide training for the right candidate to the level required to meet the Job specification.
3. Driving licence
4. Aptitude for Sales
5. I.T. skills
6. Sales experience preferable
