Job Description: Our client is a dynamic young consultancy organisation with offices in city centre Glasgow and with established clients across the UK. They are looking to recruit a release and configuration analyst to be part of their growing consulting team. You will work with a range of their clients providing release management and configuration management services including:- Managing code dependences within parallel work steams - Deploying code between environments- Auditing code bases throughout the work streamsOur client will support the successful candidate to further develop their skills in this area. To be considered for this role candidates must have the following skills and experience:- Computer related degree - Commercial experience of both release management and configuration management. Our client will consider developers who have this responsibility currently as part of their role but are keen to make it the core focus of their responsibilities- Experience of CVS or Release man would be an advantage. Other similar tools will also be considered- Candidates need to be happy to travel to client sites across the UK. All accommodation and travel expenses will be paid for and candidates do not need to have a driving licence or their own transport- Excellent communication skills. As this role will be client facing candidates must be both presentable and enjoy the prospect of working closely with clients- Overall a 'can do' attitude and a strong willingness to learn is essentialA great opportunity to be an important addition to a growing organisation.
