Job Description: Role: CVM Modelling Analysts Location: Leeds Salary: 35,000 + Bonus (20%), Healthcare, Shares, Pension etc... Role Overview Provide actionable insight into the needs and behaviours of customers to support HBOS marketing and Customer Value Management (CVM) strategies, and delivering improvements in the targeting and measurement of ongoing marketing campaigns. Accountabilities - Develop strong internal customer relationships to ensure understanding of the customers objectives and assist in defining the analysis agenda. - Working collaboratively with internal clients to develop analysis briefs balancing client objectives and the capabilities of data available. - Undertake detailed analysis of internal and external data to deliver actionable insights to aid product and proposition development. - Develop and maintain predictive models and methodologies that help define and answer strategic imperatives such as improved customer segmentation, improved return on investment for direct marketing activity, optimal contact strategy for building and maintaining profitable customer relationships. - Deliver results (through presentation or report) in a clear logical manner, in a way that clearly and concisely draws out the key findings, and provides recommendations for their interpretation. - Function as part of a team, offering opinions, ideas and mentoring for other analysts where appropriate Candidate Specification - 2 years experience of Direct Marketing analysis - 2 years programming experience in SAS or equivalent - 2 Years modelling experience in a commercial environment, preferably including usage of Enterprise Miner - Experience of using multiple systems environments, including mainframe - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Mathematics, Statistics or Computing degree preferred - Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers - The ability to communicate effectively and challenge staff at a senior level.
