Job Informations: Job Function:
The ISV Engineering Tech will be responsible for assisting the Program Engineer in all aspects of the engineering process including the design of the proposed solutions, the realization of such designs, the development of all necessary technical documentation and the support of these solutions throughout their life cycle, while focusing on quality and adherence to the company s QMS.
The focus of this position is to help the assigned Program Engineer focus more on the technical sales aspect of his job and (technical) account management, as well as free-up more of his(her) time in order to concentrate on new designs.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for assisting the Program Engineer in all job aspects
Responsible for gathering customer requirements/specifications (either through the Program Engineer or directly from the customer)
Responsible for analysing and understanding scope of an engineering project
Responsible for assisting the Program Engineer in any research associated with regards to information for this project
Responsible for aiding in the realization of the proposed design (development of first article),
Responsible for aiding in the development of associated in-process technical/manufacturing documentation (SCDs)
Responsible for aiding in the development of S/W and/or hardware tools necessary for the manufacturing of these solutions
Responsible for aiding the release of the approved product to manufacturing
Responsible for aiding in the release of all technical documentation needed for the repetitive manufacturing of the product
Responsible for the review of technical documentation developed by other engineers
Responsible aiding in the training of personnel (manufacturing/service) on new products or changes to existing products
Responsible for aiding in all sustaining engineering activities associated with released products throughout their life cycle
Responsible for assisting Service and Program Engineers in escalation situations.

Required Skills:
Job Requirements:
High school diploma a must, A+ or similar technical education is required.
At least 3 - 5 years hands-on experience in similar job such as computer Server technician, computer technician.
Knowledge of mainstream Intel Xeon Server platforms such as HP, IBM, Dell, etc. a must
Computer Telephony experience is a plus.
Knowledge of computer hardware architectures, Operating Systems (their interrelation)
Knowledge of computer storage architectures, Raid, SAN, iSCSI, NAS, Etc.
Strong aptitude and desire to remain current with all latest industry trends and technologies,
Must demonstrate a constructive and positive attitude
Must demonstrate great aptitude ability to learn new things w/minimal training
Ability to adapt to changes product or process
Ability to understand and gather customer (technical) requirements
Ability to follow instruction, and complete tasks in a timely, efficient manner
Strong ability to multitask and change focus quickly as needed.
